German investors lose confidence

German investor confidence fell in July for the first time in nine months.

The ZEW economic think tank’s monthly index of economic sentiment fell to 39.5 from 44.8 in June. That was the first drop since October 2008. The investors and financial analysts who responded to the survey said they were worried that tighter credit could choke off a recovery in Europe’s largest economy.More about: ,
