The first exhibition of contemporary art to open in Chechnya for decades has gone on display in the capital Grozny. Paintings by a Russian winner of the prestigious Kandinsky Prize focus on the late Chechen president Akhmad Kadyrov – who was killed in a bombing in 2004.
