French carmaker Peugeot-Citroen has announced a fall in sales of 14 per cent in the first half of this year. PSA declined to speculate on the future, but said its performance in the second six months of this year would be shaped by the arrival of new models, including the Citroen C3 replacement and the new Peugeot 5008.
Fierce local rival Renault is due to report its results by the end of July.
