Buy a ticket now and take your place in the queue outside in…one year’s time, such is the demand.
“To be on display again after such a fearsome terrible moment in our nation’s history is really inspiring,” said one early visitor.
But be warned. Climbing up and down is thirsty work. The lift is only for emergencies. And in the summer this lady is hot stuff says a guide:
“So she’s like 20 degrees hotter inside than she is from the outside. So just because it’s 75 or 60 outside doesn’t mean she’s 75 or 60 inside.”
Initially the crown will be able to handle 50 000 visitors a year.
