A video has been released of Michael Jackson rehearsing for his planned London concerts – shot just two days before he died.
Although obviously thin, he appears in good health – ironically performing on the same stage at the Staples Center in Los Angeles where a Michael Jackson tribute concert will take place, most likely next Tuesday.
The singer’s family still have to make a decision on his memorial, which many believe will be at his Neverland Ranch, 250 miles north of LA.
Plans for Jackson’s funeral remain unclear. But it is thought he will be buried – one report says in a gold-plated coffin – at Forest Lawn cemetary in Hollywood.
Meanwhile, his former wife Debbie Rowe has vowed to fight for custody of two of the pop icon’s children: Prince Michael aged 12 and 11-year-old Paris.
In Jackson’s will, he gave custody to his mother.
At the Staples Center, promoters are working on an all star line up for the Jackson tribute show – or as they say: “the show Michael would have wanted the world to see.”
It is likely to feature the cream of black artists and even possibly a revival of the Jackson Five. But no-one is quite sure. Even after his death, Michael Jackson’s world is full of surprises.
