Manufacturing in the euro zone shrank at a lower rate than expected in June but there were significant differences between nations with Germany lagging furthest behind.

It was the fourth month in a row there has been a slowdown in the deterioration of the euro zone’s manufacturing economy as new orders contracted at a slower pace. So even if growth trends are not apparent, the bloc should shrink much less in the second quarter.More about: , ,
