Woody Allen’s new film “Whatever Works” stars Larry David, who better known as a writer and television actor, on shows such as “Saturday Night Live” and “Seinfeld”.
He plays Woody Allen’s alter ego hero, reluctantly finding himself falling for a beautiful young woman (Evan Rachel Wood) and eventually marrying her.
Naturally the parallels with Woody Allen’s own private life have stirred up controversy in the US. The film has however also had some good reviews and marks his return to filming in New York, for so long his cinematic stamping ground.
Whatever Works is out now in Belgium, France, Holland, Sweden and Norway.
