IMF warns France on fiscal debt

The International Monetary Fund has warned France of rising fiscal debts because of the recession and falling tax revenues. It has called on France to create a credible strategy to put public finances on a more stable footing. The IMF has also cautioned that any further stimulus measures should be small and temporary. It has urged Paris to seriously consider raising the legal pension age to higher than 60.
