Jackson family awaits 2nd autopsy results

The family of Michael Jackson has requested a second autopsy on the star’s body as they still have unanswered questions over his death.

Celebrity website tmz.com, which first broke the story of Jackson’s cardiac arrest, says the private autopsy has already started. The Reverend Jesse Jackson, a friend of the family, spoke of their persistent doubts. “There’s about a 12-hour gap between when Michael apparently went to bed and when the 911 caller said that Michael was not breathing and was unconscious. Who was there? Who discovered him? Who said he was unconscious and for how long had he been unconscious? Did the doctor give him a shot? And then the person found Michael and called the doctor and the doctor came back and tried to do CPR? We don’t know,” he said. Police say Jackson’s private doctor, who was with him when his heart stopped, has spoken again with them, and had been cooperative and helped the investigation. The Coroner has ruled out foul play and ordered toxicology tests to assess the influence of prescription drugs.More about: , ,
