Euro zone trade surplus rises

The euro zone’s external trade surplus increased in April.

The European Union statistics office Eurostat said the year-on-year plunge in exports was slightly smaller than the fall in imports. Exports fell 27 percent year-on-year and imports dropped 28 percent. Analysts believe that small improvement reflects the fact that exports are starting to show some signs of stabilisation.More about:
