Grim employment news from the euro zone.
The 16 countries using the single European currency lost a record 1.22 million jobs in the first three months of this year. The number of people in work was down by 1.2 percent year-on-year that is the deepest annual drop since measurements started in 1995. The European statistics office says the biggest falls were in Spain, Slovakia and Greece.Copyright © 2010 euronews
