The ruling conservatives have won 26% of the vote in the elections for the European Parliament, according to an exit poll.  This gives them 4 seats in the parliament  out of a total of 12 for Lithuania.
 
The Social Democrats came second with 18.99%, giving them 3 seats.
 
Coming third, (TT)  Order and Justice won 12.55%, giving them 2 seats. 
 
Voter turnout was towards the bottom of the league table at only 20.57%.
 
 
Latvia opposition triumphs
 
Latvia’s main Russian speaking party made gains in the EU elections.
 
 
Opposition wins in Estonia
 
The centre-right made gains in the EU elections in Estonia.   
 
The liberal Reform Party of prime minister Andrus Ansip won 6 seats.  The other coalition party Pro Patria also made gains.  The social democrats only won one seat.
