Numerous error messages sent by missing Airbus

Air France’s doomed flight 447 sent out two dozen automated error messages – including one saying the autopilot was not working – before it vanished according to investigators.

However it’s still not known what caused the plane, which was carrying 228 people, to come down into the Atlantic on Monday. Search crews continue to look for wreckage from the Airbus A-330 as hopes dwindle of finding any bodies or the plane’s black boxes. In Brazil, relatives of the victims have arrived in the northeastern city of Recife, where investigations into the missing plane are underway. Around 60 passengers onboard the tragic flight, which was heading from Rio to Paris, were Brazilian. Roughly the same number were French.More about: , ,
