Volvo truck sales slump

Volvo is having increasing difficulty in finding customers in the global downturn.

The world’s second biggest truck maker said deliveries tumbled by nearly two thirds in April. Volvo, which also sells trucks under brands such as Renault, Nissan Diesel and Mack, saw sales fall 69 percent from a year ago both in Europe, its biggest market, and in North America. In Asia, they were down 54 percent.More about: ,
