Germany exports and imports rise

A rebound in exports in Germany, Europe’s biggest economy, is providing another sign the global recession may be easing.

The Federal Statistics Office figures show German exports rose in March for the first time in six months. Adjusted to take into account seasonal factors, exports were up by 0.7 percent. Imports also posted their first monthly increase since September, climbing 0.8 percent.More about:
