Seventy landscape paintings by the tortured artistic genius Vincent Van Gogh have recently gone on show at the Kunstmuseum in Basle, Switzerland. The landscapes are taken from the different periods and places of the artists short life, from the Netherlands to Paris and Provence, tracking the evolution of his increasingly colourful style.
