Eurozone – unemployment worse

The jobless total in the Eurozone is worse than predicted.

Figures for March show umemployment in the 16 countries using the euro, is up to almost nine percent. This is point four percent higher than predicted, in the worst recession since the Second World War. Spain is worst hit, with jobless figures up by one percentage point to 17.4 percent. But inflation has remained unchanged, at a record low of 0.6 percent in April.More about:
