Brussels has enjoyed three days of Balkan music at the Bozar Palace fine arts museum. The Transbalkanika Festival ran from 16th to 18th April.

A multitude of styles was showcased; Roma brass bands, folk, Yugo-rock, Greek blues and everything in between. Kostas Kalafatis also performed. He is a big star in the world of Greek rembetika, a musical style which ermerged in the early part of the last century. New York duo The Kletzmatics were also guest stars.More about:
