Thai anti-government demonstrators camped around Bangkok Government House have started packing up.

Leaders of Thailand’s red shirted protesters loyal to former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra say they have called an end to the three week siege to protect the lives of supporters. It’s thought the heads of the anti-government movement are in talks with the military on how best they can leave the area safely. With a relative calm returning to the streets of Bangkok, Thailand’s current prime minister Abhisit Vejjajiva claims authorities are now back in control.More about:
