On the back of the success of “My Big Fat Greek Wedding,” Canadian-American actress, writer and producer Nia Vardalos is back with another comedy based around her Hellenic roots. In “My Life in Ruins,” Vardalos plays a neurotic middle-aged Greek-American professor who starts a new life in Athens.
