Vinyl records that helped define the golden era of rock in the 1960s and ’70s, are making a comeback. A growing number of bands like the Killers and the Arctic Monkeys are turning back to vinyl for its unique sound – some 60 years since the first 45s and LPs were produced. And the record companies like the fact that a vinyl disc is not as easy to pirate as a CD or a download.
