Tourists missing after Thai boating tragedy

Rescuers in Thailand are searching for six foreign tourists and a Thai national after the sinking of a passenger vessel.

The Navy says the accident happened near the resort island of Phuket; 23 of the 30 people on board were taken to safety. Authorities say the vessel sank after getting into difficulty during a storm. The missing include two Swiss nationals, two Austrians, a German, a tourist from Japan and a Thai crew member.More about: ,
