Israel says it has fired on targets in southern Lebanon after a rocket landed in the north of its territory.

At least three Israelis were reported to have been slightly injured when the rocket damaged a building.

The Israel army says it responded by firing half a dozen artillery shells; reports say no one was wounded.

Security sources in Beirut are quoted as saying that three rockets had been fired from Lebanon, but no group has yet claimed responsibility.
