Europe’s green mayors think globally, act locally

Eckart Wurzner is the Mayor of Heidelberg, and he is a Mayor with a Mission. He wants to cut Heidelberg’s CO2 emissions beyond the 20 percent reduction by 2020 agreed by the European Union. His local plan has ramifications for Europe and the rest of the world.
