Davos ends with calls for global trade deal

The world economic forum in Davos wound up having produced a consensus on the need to achieve a new global trade deal and to avoid destructive economic protectionism.

The five day gathering also produced heated debates on other subjects such as Gaza and the Israeli offensive along with the issue of Climate change. But there were also opinions strongly given outside the debating chambers as hundreds of protesters gave a collective “thumbs down” to political leaders.More about:
