French film maker Jacques-Rémy Girerd’s second full-length feature, “Mia et le Migou” provides proof if it were needed that animation is a labour of love. It took six years to make at a cost of 8.5 million euros -a massive budget for an animated film. It tells the story of a young girl’s encounter with mysterious woodland creatures while on a voyage to rescue her father.
