Europeans arriving back at airports across the continent have been telling their, chilling, stories.
“It was horrible just seeing dead people around you. I was covered in blood. The people around me were all saying: “They might be there. They might be there,” and I couldnt see anything at all. I just saw the ground,” said one man.
“There were lots of people everywhere,” said another. “The police were a little overwhelmed, they didnt know what to do. That was very difficult for us.”
Numerous Westerners remain behind in hospitals in Mumbai. Others will not be coming home at all.
