The siege at Mumbai’s Taj Hotel has reportedly ended.

Authorities say they have killed all the militants holed up inside the luxury hotel.

But chaos and confusion continue to surround the operation to free up to 30 hostages trapped in the nearby Trident-Oberoi.

India’s elite commandos are said to be still engaged in pitched battles there, nearly 24 hours after India’s financial capital was subjected to carefully coordinated attacks by Islamic militants.

Some of the men thought to be among the attackers were caught on security cameras – suspected members of a previously unknown Islamic militants known as the Deccan Mujahideen.

India claim the group is based “outside the country” and says it wont tolerate “neighbours” who’ve been providing it with a haven.

More than 120 people, including six foreigners, have been killed and many more injured following shootings at other popular spots across India’s movie capital.
