UN court agrees to hear genocide case against Serbia

On the day the UN ruled it could consider Croatia’s accusation of genocide against Serbia, Croats have been remembering victims of the war between the two countries. More than 20,000 people marched through the streets of Zagreb to mark the 17th anniversary of the fall of Vukovar. Some 1,600 Croats died defending the city from Yugoslav and Serb forces.
