Unlocking the secrets of the deep in 3D

European marine archaeologists have developed a complex new technique to study shipwrecks, too deep for divers to explore. By combining photography, navigational data and sonar, they can create 3D images to help unravel the mysteries of those stricken vessels from the safety of the surface.
