The London Film Festival has opened with the world premiere of a film that’s being billed as a front-runner for the awards season. “Frost/Nixon” is a look back at the renowned TV encounters in 1977, when the talk-show host David Frost extracted an unprecedented confession of wrongdoing and an apology from the former president Richard Nixon over the Watergate scandal.
