Meet the next generation of TV remote control

The first television remote controls in the 1950s meant we didn’t even have to get out of our seats. Then they became wireless and we stopped tripping over the cable. Now Cambridge University researchers and a well-known electronics manufacturer are taking the remote to a new level.
