An internet search during the shooting in Kauhajoki produced four YouTube videos, which were all taken offline soon after. The video user, who calls himself Mr. Saari, said he was 22 years old and lived in Kauhajoki. His profile included the angry statement “And there was war, and mothers screamed. For revenge and reprisals, for another war.” It is not known if this gunman is the man who attacked the Kauhajoki school, but his determination is chilling.
