After much criticism of the standard of films on show, the 65th Venice Film festival has closed, leaving the Golden Lion prize to a film that met with almost universal praise. Mickey Rourke’s much acclaimed acting comeback in “The Wrestler” stole the show in Venice. The film’s director Darren Aronofsky thanked Rourke for opening up his heart to the camera.
