“The Duchess” premiers in London

A costume drama about the 18th Century English society darling Georgiana, Duchess of Devonshire has had its world premier in London. The fact that she was a Spencer, beautiful, married to an older man, and there were “three people in her marriage” has predictably raised comparisons with a more recent member of that aristocratic Family.
