Thailand’s tourism industry — a huge source of income for the country — has been targeted by anti-government demonstrators. A large group stormed the airport at the resort of Phuket forcing its closure once again – passengers were reportedly prevented from boarding planes and had to leave the airport. Similar action already caused the airports of both Phuket and the other popular tourist destination of Krabi to be temporarily shut earlier this week.
