Maritime Museum opens in Hamburg

Who knows were a hobby can lead? In the case of the former publisher Peter Tamm it can end up with your own museum. The new International Maritime Museum is now open to visitors where over 26,000 models, paintings and other documents are on show.

Housed in a renovated a port-side brick storage building in Hamburg’s old Docklands, the expo traces 3,000 years of seafaring.
