Fired up with football fever, Spanish supporters have been heading to Vienna to back their side in tonight’s Euro 2008 semi-final. There, they will take on Russia whose fans are also flying the flag.
Tonight, for a guaranteed piece of the action, the stadium is certainly the best bet. Worldwide TV viewers saw coverage of last night’s semi-final interrupted. A thunderstorm has been blamed.
Yesterday, Turkey was beaten 3-2 by Germany who have booked their place in Sunday’s final.
