A history museum in northern France, dedicated to the D-Day landings, is staging the largest exhibit yet on another world-changing event – the airborne attacks in America of September 11th, 2001. It a joint project with the New York State Museum, which is home to the artefacts. Between them they re-tell the story of the attacks on New York’s Twin Towers and the Pentagon in Washington which killed 3,000 people.
