The Russian gas monopoly, Gazprom, has announced it has reached an agreement with Ukraine on gas supplies and Kiev’s debts. This after talks between both sides in Moscow.
Gazprom had earlier warned it might reduce supplies to Ukraine if the country failed to repay a massive debt for earlier deliveries.
The new deal has involved the drawing-up of a repayment schedule.
