Malta’s long tradition of welcoming foreigners to its shores in the Mediterranean is coming under increasing strain. Lying between Italy and Libya, Malta has become a target for refugees fleeing war in Africa. But now, the most densely populated country in the EU warns it is nearly full to bursting.
