The claims of a terrorist conspiracy at the centre of Britain’s National Health Service has sent shockwaves across the nation. The NHS relieves heavily on medics from abroad, and those detained are all legal recruits. Last Saturday Britain fell victim to terror attacks once again. The burning jeep that crashed through the front of Glasgow airport showed that any part of the country could be targeted.

But this time the only casualty was one of the alleged perpetrators. He suffered severe burns and was one of two men arrested at the scene. Authorities have identified one of the suspects as an Iraqi doctor who gained his diploma in Baghdad in 2004. It is thought he worked at the hospital were the injured man was taken.

Hours later police announced the arrests of two more suspects, a man and woman who were stopped on a motorway in northwestern England. It emerged they were a surgeon and his wife, a laboratory technician. Both are Jordanians and employess of the NHS.
