Millions of football fans are mulling over their team’s chances after the World Cup draw for the opening round of the tournament. England coach Sven Goran Eriksson faces his homeland Sweden as well as Paraguay, Trindad and Tobago in Group B. “Well, I don’t complain. It could have been worse.” “Will you make it to the next round?” he was asked. “I hope so”.

South Korea is in Group G, coach Dick Advocaat did not seem to fancy his teams chances. “I think that France is the favourite.” The games kick off on June the 9th when hosts Germany play against Costa Rica. The final is to be held in Berlin’s Olympic stadium one month later. Bookmakers have their money on Brazil who are defending the trophy and seeking a sixth world title.
