Samarra blasts leave more than 30 dead

A fourth car bomb in the Iraqi town of Samarra has left ten policemen dead.

A spate of attacks there today has killed more than 30 people. Earlier the town hall and a police checkpoint were hit by two car bombs, 20 people lost their lives. And a short while after that, another exploded targeting a US convoy that was trying to reach the scene. Gunmen have also carried out simultaneous attacks on three police stations, four people died.
